Chandrababu and lokesh are committed to ousting vallabhaneni vamsi from office in the upcoming elections, especially after vamsi made offensive remarks regarding Lokesh's birth.

Under authority initially assigned to MLC Bachula Arjuna, tdp hopes to field a strong opponent for Vamsi. Arjuna, however, recently passed suddenly from a heart attack. As a result, the tdp chose former mp Konakalla Narayana to serve as the coordinator for gannavaram, but they later concluded he was insufficiently qualified to take on Vamsi. According to rumours, Chandrababu intends to run Vamsi's opponent, telugu Youth State General Secretary devineni Chandrasekhar, also known as Chandu.

Chandu, a meticulous leader with ties to lokesh, is the cousin of ycp youth leader devineni Avinash. vamsi is well-liked by the residents of gannavaram and has developed a solid reputation as a public worker. He has, however, been painted as a bully by the tdp and party-friendly media. How well chandu would perform in the approaching elections against vamsi is yet to be determined.
