It is customary for any pundit hired by a political party to read the Panchangam (almanac) on Ugadi Day to forecast good times for the party's leader in the upcoming year. The telangana government hired Bachampalli santosh kumar Sarma of Sarada Peetham to read out the almanac, but he issued a warning to BRS President and chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao.
