It is customary for any pundit hired by a political party to read the Panchangam (almanac) on Ugadi Day to forecast good times for the party's leader in the upcoming year. The experts hired by them read out the yearly predictions in support of the respective party presidents, whether it be the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, the congress, the bharatiya janata party in telangana, the congress PARTY' target='_blank' title='ysr congress-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>ysr congress party, or the telugu desam party in Andhra Pradesh.

The telangana government hired Bachampalli santosh kumar Sarma of Sarada Peetham to read out the almanac, but he issued a warning to BRS President and chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao. Although the government will mainly overcome obstacles in a variety of domains, he predicted that the monarch (read: chief minister KCR) would run into some issues from some people. Sarma, who was ostensibly alluding to issues from the Centre, said, "He has to be very cautious in dealing with them." Additionally, the pundit foresaw difficulties for the BRS administration due to some inconsistencies in the education department.

He also warned of problems with law and order, including social tensions and intercommunal violence, which would disgrace the administration. Sarma asserted that the state high court and the supreme court would issue favorable rulings for the state government. He projected that this year would bring about significant changes to both the state and federal governments. The pundit also predicted that the months of October, November, and december would see some intriguing changes in telangana politics. For the people of telangana, these three months will be an intriguing time in state politics due to the upheaval.
