Veteran actor Manobala's last rites...


The teenage boy who fled away from his thanjavur home in an endeavour to reach the top of the movie business and seamlessly donned the director, producer, and actor hats, passed away on Wednesday. The 69-year-old actor manobala passed away at his Saligramam home after a brief illness.


Manobala, who appeared in numerous hundred films and directed over 20 others, never shied away from a challenge in Kollywood. In addition to producing films, he also founded the YouTube channel "Manobala's Waste Paper" and directed teleserial. He received the best debut producer honour for his work, "Sathurangavettai." manobala quickly rose to prominence as the red-billed hornbill Zazu in the tamil dub of The lion King.

The final rites will be performed at their home in Saligramam, Chennai's L.V. prasad Road, at 10.30 am this morning, according to the announcement.

Manobala began his career as a co-director on K Bhagyaraj's bharathiraja stunner "Puthiya Vaarpugal," and went on to direct popular films like "Agaya Gangai" in 1982, "Oorkavalan" in 1987, and "Malluvetti Minor" in 1990. He directed the hindi version of his 1989 hit "En Purushanthaan Enakku Mattumthan," "Mera Pati Sirf Mera Hai."

He was more well-liked by his admirers, nevertheless, for the comedic parts he played in films starring actors from all eras. He was mourned by the chief minister M K Stalin, the governor R N Ravi, the general secretary of the AIADMK Edappadi K Palaniswami, and the state president of the bjp K Annamalai.
