The female lead in far too many romantic comedies filmed in the South is usually incapable of original thought. At the first moment, she is ready to be entranced by the main lead's life-changing monologue or ideology (?) The time-tested routine is ignored in 'Most Eligible Bachelor,' at least for a while. For a change, Harsha (Akhil Akkineni, a successful NRI) is perplexed and willing to be persuaded by Vibha (Pooja Hegde), a stand-up comedian who takes pride in her allegedly unconventional thinking.

This idea leads to a romance drama that is equal parts genuine feeling and unmixed absurdity. Vibha's imprecise references to phrases like 'amour' have rendered Harsha's mind incapable of any thought. What she really wants is simple and can be stated over a cup of coffee. However, because she is a stand-up comedian who must appear nonconformist, she speaks in a jumbled manner and appears strange.

Akhil is measured and controlled in his performance. pooja hegde is a definite plus who looks fantastic. Even though the movie receives mixed reviews due to a bland second half, pooja hegde is happy as her role 'Vibha' is getting praises from all sides and most of the critics are heaping praises on pooja hegde for trying something out of the box and emerging as a winner as well.
