According to the news of a local news website, the incident happened on last night. Another tourist from germany was also killed along with anjali Ryot in the shooting. Ryot had come to Tulum before her birthday on october 22.

The German woman shooter who killed the tourist has been identified as Jennifer Heinzold.


Three other foreign tourists were also injured in a shootout at a roadside restaurant in Tulum. These include two men from germany and a woman from Portugal.
