The Great indian murder, a Disney+ Hotstar webseries starring Tigmanshu Dhulia, is a largely amusing narrative. At a gathering, a politician's deftly nasty son is fatally shot. For good cause, he had a slew of detractors. At least two of the suspects, munna and Eketi, have fascinating background stories, and actors shashank arora and Mani PR play them brilliantly.

Multiple subplots follow the pasts of persons suspected of killing Vicky Rai in the series, which is based on Vikas Swarup's 2008 book Six Suspects. One of the series' attractions is Jatin Goswami's diabolical portrayal as Vicky. Vicky's dad, Jagannath Rai, is the interior minister of Uttar Pradesh in the novel. In Uttar Pradesh's politics, both Jagannath's political ambitions and Vicky's murder play a part. Dhulia changes Uttar Pradesh to chhattisgarh with the help of co-writers Vijay Maurya and Puneet Sharma.

In one scenario, the chief minister of chhattisgarh, who is from the same political party as Jagannath, says that their organization is only in control in four states. When pursuing munna and Eketi's trail, The Great indian murder is at its finest. A vortex of corruption surrounds them: legal, spiritual, governmental, financial, and so on. Jagannath (Ashutosh Rana) is a sleepless father who is desperate to keep his son Vicky out of prison. Vicky, on the other hand, is a rather successful entrepreneur, and Jagannath has to keep an eye on him. Vicky throws a grandiose party after being acquitted of rape and torture charges.

There are some terrific pursuit and shooting moments to keep things interesting. The Great indian murder has a supernatural element, similar to how fate and luck played a weird role in Slumdog Millionaire, which was based from Swarup's novel Q & A. Some of the key characters in the story, such as Shabnaam and the American larry page (Liam MacDonald), are left unexplored by the writers, probably to be saved for the successor, which will undoubtedly be made given season one's suspenseful finale.
