Sree vishnu has proven his acting chops on numerous occasions, but a storyline that does him justice appears to be elusive. On paper, Bhala Thandanana sounds thrilling, but the heist drama's execution does not do him justice. Chandu (Sree Vishnu) works as an accountant at an orphanage, where he meets Sashi Rekha, an investigative reporter (Catherine Tresa). The latter investigates a series of mysterious murders and discovers that cold-blooded criminal Anand Bali (Garuda Ram) is to blame. However, as she dives deeper, she discovers alarming secrets about Chandu.

The trailer for Bhala Thandanana gave the impression that the film would be a fast-paced action thriller, but it takes its time getting into the swing of things. director Chaitanya Dantuluri wasted a lot of time crafting light hearted moments between these two, and she falls for his naivety. She doesn't look hard enough at the man she loves for someone who can scent out stories. Preachy discussions on today's newsrooms and journalistic ethics, meanwhile, seem obsolete. When Sashi becomes agitated over the murders, the film finds its feet. With chandu showing his actual self, the interval bang works flawlessly.

As a result, the second half of the film fare considerably better than the first. While the film has a lot of twists and turns, as well as some funny moments with Posani krishna Murali, it stays on course for the most part. While the idea and execution are excellent, the sequences are repetitive. The picture may have benefited from more precise editing. For a low-budget film, the action sequences are well-choreographed. In the midst of the turmoil, the romantic tune challenges your patience and appears forced. To make up for it, the climax has a fascinating surprise, but the finale is a letdown. Mani Sharma's score also doesn't help the picture succeed.
