A speech on caste discrimination organized by google in the united states has been canceled by google in the face of strong opposition from caste supporters.

The speech was scheduled to be delivered by Thenmozhi Soundarajan, an activist with the Dalit Laboratory (Equality Labs), a civil rights organization working for Dalit rights in the United States. The event was organized last month to mark Dalit history Month.

However, tanuja Gupta, who organized the event and worked as a project manager at google news, was slandered by many of the company's employees for canceling the event, which eventually led to Tanuja's resignation, according to a statement from Equality Labs. In a statement, Equality Labs urged google to take responsibility for discriminating against its company following Tanuja's resignation. However, google has denied that there is any discrimination in their company.

"

A hate campaign was launched within the company against Tanuja's group in retaliation for organizing the honeymoon Soundarajan speech. Their safety is at stake. google HR department has launched an investigation into tanuja and taken punitive action. He was subsequently forced to resign. He did not feel safe in the company after these events.

"After working in this company for 11 years, I had many reasons to leave. But this was the reason I needed. While doing my job and while I was involved in upholding caste equality in the company, I saw four women being persecuted and silenced. That fact must be taken into account. " The letter was sent to approximately 15,000 google employees. In support of this, the international organization for the #metoo movement said, "We urge google to treat both Thenmozhi Selandarajan and tanuja Gupta with respect."
