N Lingusamy, the director of "The Warrior," and his brother N Subash chandra bose were both given a six-month prison term for check fraud. After the brothers stole more than Rs 1 crore from them, a production business filed a lawsuit against them. After Linguswamy failed to pay back the money he had borrowed from the production house a few years prior, PVP capital initiated a lawsuit against the director for the same.

According to reports, he gave the production company a check that bounced. The director and his brother have made the decision to re-appeal the judgement at the madras high court in the interim. The family drama Aanandham, starring Mammootty, was Lingusamy's directorial debut in 2001. For films like Run (2002), Sandakozhi (2005), Paiyaa (2010), and Vettai, he is well recognised (2012). A financial company, PVP capital Limited, filed the lawsuit after the director's check for Rs. 1.03 crore that was provided to them bounced. The proprietors of the production company Thirrupathi Brothers, Lingusamy and his brother Subash chandra bose, were named in a lawsuit brought by the business. A few years ago, the production business allegedly borrowed Rs 1.03 crore from PVP capital Limited for a movie called "Enni Yezhu Naal" that never got off the ground. Due to the duo's failure to repay the loan amount, the finance company filed a lawsuit against them.
