In this case, it has been decided to set up integrated transport terminals called multi-modal integration at Guindy and Vannarpettai in the first phase of the metro rail project. In this regard, various officials are conducting a direct investigation in the Guindy area.

According to this, chennai Metropolitan Development Committee Member Secretary Ansul Minra, chennai Integrated Transport Group Special Officer Jayakumar, chennai Traffic police Additional Commissioner Kapil Kumar C. Sarathkar, Southern Railway Officer anand Rupanagudi, MTC Managing director Anbu Abraham, chennai Corporation Joint Commissioner Sameeran and other department officials. attended.

In this regard, chennai Integrated Transport Group Special Officer Jayakumar said, "There is currently a pedestrian flyover crossing at Guindy railway station. Also, the chennai Municipal Corporation has decided to construct a pedestrian flyover near the race course and the Highways Department has decided to construct a pedestrian flyover on the GST road. It is recommended to connect these 3 flyovers. has been done.

Also, many buses are parked on the side of the road on GST road. To resolve this, a bus stand has been suggested at that location. Also, it has been recommended to set up race course area and GST road pavement complex. Apart from this, a bus stand near Chinnamalai, a bus stand near Guindy post station, a separate bus stop near Chinnamalai and a footpath have also been recommended," he said.
