Here is a brief study on the rising trend of indians purchasing high end automobiles at a very encouraging rate. India's luxury car culture is well and well catching up. Mercedes Benz, BMW, and audi, luxury automakers, saw record sales in the first six months of 2023 (January to June). In the first half of 2023, Benz sold 8528 vehicles in total, a 13% rise over the number of units it sold at the same period last year.

BMW sold 5867 units in the first half, a 5% rise over the number it sold during the same period the previous year. This figure includes 391 sales of mini cars. audi sold 3473 units, a staggering 97% increase over the number it sold the previous year. In the past year or two, the company's unit sales have almost doubled, which is a highly indicative indicator of the rise in luxury automobile trends in India.

A total of 21,000+ new luxury vehicles have hit the roads, and by the end of the year, that number may rise to 46,000–47,000 vehicles. Sales at the end of the year should be significantly greater than they were in the beginning.
