Government schools to remain open on gandhi Jayanti!!!

According to a government announcement made public on september 29, all government-run schools in assam will be open on gandhi Jayanti, which falls on october 2. The assam government made this choice in order to instil Gandhian principles in the next generation. As a result, this day will be observed in all state schools that fall under the Department of school Education. On october 2, the international Day of Nonviolence, these schools will host activities to emphasise to students the value of inclusive unity. The Department of school Education has announced that all interested parties will be included in these activities.
On that day, a "Non-Violence Pledge" will also be given in every school, according to the notification. The Department of school Education of the government of assam has also decided to observe the day in all the schools throughout the state of assam in recognition of the international Day of Non-Violence, 2023, which will be observed globally on october 2, 2023, the anniversary of mahatma Gandhi's birth.
As a result, all schools managed by the Department of school Education must be open on Tuesday, october 2, 2023, so that special events can be planned to teach students about the importance of inclusivity and to involve all relevant parties.
