Cyclone Michaung, which is travelling north-westward in the south-west Bay of bengal, is moving at a pace of 13 kilometres per hour, according to the andhra pradesh State Disaster Management Agency. Currently, it is 150 kilometres to chennai, 250 kilometres to nellore, 360 kilometres to Bapat, and 380 kilometres to Machilipatnam. Today, the storm will proceed parallel to the coast.
