He is singing. He has created history by winning the National Award for Best Playback singer 8 times. No other singer has achieved this feat so far.At the state level, Yesudas has received the best singer award 45 times from the state governments of kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.
