With significant changes in several states, the bharatiya janata party (BJP) unveiled its initial list of candidates for the forthcoming lok sabha election on Saturday, replacing 33 incumbent MPs with fresh faces. There are 95 names on the initial list of the saffron party's lok sabha lineup, which includes two former chief ministers from West bengal and Assam, as well as 34 central ministers from Chattisgarh, delhi, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Tripura.

Out of the six incumbent Members of Parliament, the party has filed five fresh candidates in Assam. Parimal Suklabaidhya, a bjp candidate, took Rajdeep Roy MP's seat in the silchar constituency. amar singh Tisso has been appointed to the Autonomous district (ST) seat held by mp Horen Singh Bey. Bijuli Kalita Medhi will run for the Gauhati lok sabha seat held by queen Oja mp, while Ranjit Dutta will represent Tezpur, home of Pallab Lochan Das, the current MP. In Dibrugarh, mp Rameswar Teli has been replaced by Union minister Sarbanand Sonowal.

The party introduced four fresh faces in Chattisgarh. sunil Kumar Soni, the current bjp leader, lost his seat in raipur to veteran politician Brijmohan Agrawal. Kamlesh Jangde, the current mp Guharam Ajgalley's replacement, will run from the Janjgir Champa (SC) seat. The party has dropped mp Chunni Lal Sahu from the Mahasamund seat, and Roop Kumari Choudhary is the new candidate. Bhojraj Nag took Mohan Mandavi's post in Kanker (ST).

Four of the delhi BJP's five nominated candidates took the place of current MPs. praveen Khandelwal has been elected to the lok sabha from Chandani Chowk, replacing former Union minister Harsh Vardhan. Kamaljeet Sehrawat has taken over for two-term mp Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma in the West delhi seat. The contender for the New delhi lok sabha seat is Bansuri Swaraj, the late bjp politician sushma Swaraj's daughter. Meenakshi Lekhi, the current mp and Union minister, did not make the list.
