The film "Razakar: Silent Genocide of Hyderabad" will eventually be released on march 15 after several delays. The film, which is regarded by some as Hindutva propaganda, was produced by bharatiya janata party (BJP) leader Gudur Narayan reddy from Bhongir. It is primarily about the Muslim militia known as Razakars (volunteers) and their activities in the days preceding the indian army's annexation of the former hyderabad state on september 17, 1948.

The Razakars movie was initially scheduled to premiere in october of last year, just in time for the telangana Assembly election on november 30. However, it was postponed. Longtime Congressman from Bhongir district Gudrun Narayan reddy, who joined the bjp a few years ago, has verified that the film would eventually be released on march 15. Its publication date was originally stated by him as march 1.

Recall that Gudrun Narayana reddy wrote to the state's Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) in the lead-up to the telangana elections, requesting permission to release his Razakars film on november 17, 2023. Given that many have accused him of propagating anti-Muslim bigotry through the video, he had then said that it was not produced to cause conflict within the community.

Furthermore, it should be remembered that in september 2023, KT Rama Rao (KTR), the working president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former IT minister, declared that the BRS administration would halt the film's release and bring the matter before the censor board. It should be mentioned that there are elements of casteism in the movie poster. A supposed Brahmin kid is depicted being stabbed to death on a spike as Razakars watches from a distance.
