In honor of holi, a Hindu holiday observed throughout india and beyond, the telangana government has declared a vacation. The telangana calendar indicates that the festival's holiday is set for Monday, march 25.
 
Telangana schools to observe holiday on holi festival
On Monday, the state's schools will also be closed in honor of the holi festival. There are two more holidays in the current month. There is an obligatory holiday and an optional holiday. Because of Good Friday, march 29 is a general holiday, while march 31 is an optional holiday in observance of Shahadat Hazrat Ali.

Festival of colours
The festival of Love, the festival of Spring, and the festival of Colors are among other names for it. Water, colors, and balloons are all important parts of the holi celebration, which is celebrated with tremendous fervor and passion throughout india, including Telangana.
