MLC kavitha approached Delhi's Rouse Avenue court last month (on march 26) to grant her bail till the 16th of this month, saying that her son has exams. The court issued notice to the ED to reply to the interim bail petition filed by Kavitha. The court also postponed the hearing of Kavita's case. On march 15, kavitha was arrested at her residence in hyderabad after the authorities from delhi conducted an investigation. He was transferred from hyderabad to the ED office in Delhi. The next day, when he was produced in Rouse Avenue court, the ED asked for 10 days of custody, but the court allowed 7 days of custody. As the ED's custody ended on march 23, the authorities asked for another 5 days of custody, but the court granted it 3 days of custody. So on march 26, the authorities produced her in the court and kavitha was remanded to 14 days judicial remand and sent to Tihar Jail.
