It follows the complainant's accusation that hyderabad has turned food safety into a joke.
 
Hyderabad bakery reportedly sold poor-quality cakes
Everything started when an X account called "Karvendhan" posted pictures and videos of what appeared to be a low-quality banana cake that she had purchased from a uppal bakery. He added, "Food safety in hyderabad has devolved into a farce, even from reputable establishments." Following the complaint on X, ghmc wrote, ‘Dear Citizen, the Concerned Food Safety team @AFCGHMC has been alerted to this issue, and it will be resolved at the earliest.’

Restaurants in hyderabad under ghmc scrutiny
The ghmc has recently been investigating several Hyderabadi eateries for suspected food quality issues. A video of a patron discovering a cockroach in the biryani went viral on social media, drawing attention to a buffet restaurant in the city.
 
The bug was allegedly discovered in the biryani that was served at the jubilee hills buffet restaurant in Hyderabad.
 
Surprisingly, renowned hotels, especially buffet restaurants in hyderabad, are receiving complaints about insects, lizards, and cockroaches in their biryani and other meals.
 
How concerned authorities respond to the increasing number of complaints against well-known establishments, such as restaurants and bakeries in hyderabad, is still to be seen.
