An official stated that telangana has seized cash, gold, spirits and gifts totaling Rs 71.73 crore in the run-up to the elections. With the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct last month, the enforcement agencies have taken cash, precious metals, alcohol, and other goods around the state. They confiscated money, alcohol, gold, and freebies totaling Rs 25.67 crores during the previous week.
 

The chief electoral officer's office reports that money totaling Rs 29.31 crore has been recovered by the police, Income Tax department, and Enforcement Directorate thus far.
 
In the last week, which concluded on april 7, they confiscated Rs 12.35 crore in cash.
 
3.62 lakh liters of alcohol worth Rs 9.54 crore have been recovered by the enforcement forces thus far.
 
Of this, 6.2 crore rupees worth of spirits were found the week before.
 
Narcotics and drugs worth Rs 15.49 crore have reportedly been confiscated in the state thus far, according to officials.
 

So far, 10.33 crore rupees worth of gold, silver, and jewelry have been confiscated.
 
Freebies including computers, stoves, and sarees intended to entice voters have also been seized by the authorities.
 
Their combined worth is Rs 7.04 crore.
 
May 13 is the election day for the state's 17 lok sabha seats.
