The judicial custody of BRS MLC kalvakuntla kavitha was extended until april 23 by Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court. The Enforcement Directorate detained her on march 15th about the delhi Liquor Policy Scam investigation. In the meantime, kavitha claimed in a four-page letter to the court that the trial had tarnished her name and that she had nothing to do with the booze fraud. 

Kavitha said that her political and personal reputations have been attacked as a result of this "media trial." She claimed that her privacy had been violated by all media outlets displaying her mobile number. Kavitha claimed that her reputation and privacy are being harmed by the media's investigation, which goes beyond the ED and CBI's purview. She claimed that regarding the delhi Liquor Policy, she had not committed any financial fraud. She continued by saying that she had been duped and had been unable to obtain justice for the previous two years.
 

Kavitha's regular bail plea will be considered by the CBI's special court on april 20. The ED detained kavitha on march 16 on suspicion of having ties to the delhi Liquor Scam investigation. On march 26, she was placed in detention and transferred to Tihar Jail.
