However, he planned to go to europe, but due to not getting a visa, he had to change his plan and he went to Kashmir.

Lieutenant Vinay Narwal was 26 years old and he had married Himanshi Narwal just eight days ago. According to the Times of india report, both of them wanted to go to europe for their honeymoon, but they could not get a visa, due to which the plan had to be canceled. Vinay is a resident of Karnal, Haryana. His family lives in Sector 7 of Karnal, Haryana.

The terrorists shot Vinay in front of Himanshi. However, nothing happened to Himanshi and she is fine. In the video, Himanshi is seen saying, 'I was eating Bhelpuri with my husband when a man came and pointed towards Vinay and said - he is not a Muslim and then he opened fire.'

Vinay Narwal was an engineering graduate and had joined the Navy three years ago. Currently, he is posted in Kochi, Kerala. His father is Rajesh Kumar, who is a superintendent in the Customs Department of Panipat. Vinay's mother's name is Asha Devi and their grandmother's name is Biru Deva. Asha Devi is a housewife. Vinay's elder sister Srishti is preparing for civil services while living in Delhi. Vinay's grandfather Hawa Singh was in the haryana Police and retired in the year 2004.
