One unexpected winner has surfaced when genres fluctuate like social media trends: courtroom drama.  Legal thrillers, which were once thought to be excessively serious or dull, are suddenly generating a lot of buzz at the box office.  Bollywood has clearly developed a thirst for justice on screen, as evidenced by the major films in this regard, like kesari Chapter 2, pink, and the Jolly LLB series.  This is cultural as well as cinematic.

Gender rights, societal injustice, religious conflict, and dysfunctional systems are all commonplace issues that these movies touch on. pink addressed consent.  OMG 2 combined sex education with faith.  Caste discrimination was addressed in Article 15. Viewers are not merely observing; they are also connecting, responding, and recalling.  It's the excitement of seeing the truth come to light gradually, painfully, and frequently in an unexpected way.

Courtroom movies combine content and suspense.  Every scene has significance.  Every character has complex morals and emotions, but the lawyers in particular.  And it's a win-win situation when it's presented with outstanding writing and stirring performances. Additionally, this development indicates that audiences are looking for entertainment beyond popcorn.  They are drawn to stories that reflect society and are thought-provoking and challenging.

From ayushmann khurrana in Article 15 to rajkummar rao in Shahid, performers are pushing the envelope in courtroom dramas, and the public is adoring it.  Now, Jolly LLB 3 is the center of attention.  Expectations are high for a blend of comedy, drama, and a reality check given that akshay kumar and arshad warsi are allegedly going to court.  Is it capable of elevating the genre to new heights?  Or has the trend in courtrooms peaked?  The audience's decision will be obvious in any case.
