Under the leadership of delhi Pradesh congress Committee President Devendra Yadav, some big decisions and announcements were made on saturday (May 03), which are not only a big step towards strengthening the organization, but also show the readiness to raise the issues of the public loudly. A big decision was taken in the monthly meetings of all 258 Block congress Committees of Delhi. The central government finally decided to conduct a caste census on the long-standing demand of the congress, for which a motion of thanks was unanimously passed to congress President mallikarjun Kharge and leader of Opposition in lok sabha rahul Gandhi. This proposal was passed as a result of strong public pressure raised by the congress under the fight for social justice of Dalits, backward, extremely backward, tribal and other classes.

Devendra Yadav attended many meetings

Devendra Yadav himself attended about a dozen meetings and gave the mantra to the workers to strengthen the organization up to the booth level. Along with the block presidents, members of the state executive, district presidents, lok sabha observers, former MLAs, regional workers and chairmen and officials of different organizations were also present in these meetings.

Devendra Yadav said, "Under the leadership of rahul gandhi and mallikarjun Kharge, the fight for social justice for Dalits, backward, extremely backward, tribals and deprived sections of the society was being fought for a long time. As a result of this, the central government had to bow down and take the decision of caste census." Describing it as a big victory for the congress, Yadav said, "Now this message has to be conveyed to every household that congress is the only party that fights for the rights of the people. For this, a target of putting up 1000 posters in each block has been given, in which the message of congress will be conveyed to the public by thanking rahul gandhi and Kharge.'' Also, delhi congress is soon going to organize a big welcome ceremony at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, in which rahul gandhi and mallikarjun Kharge will be felicitated. Yadav told all the block presidents to attend this program with as many people as possible and start preparations.
