Bollywood actor emraan hashmi is the most recent to be afflicted by the surge in waterborne infections brought on by Mumbai's early monsoon showers. The actor's filming for the eagerly awaited telugu movie OG has been temporarily put on hold after he tested positive for dengue.

Emraan reportedly started exhibiting dengue-like symptoms while filming his scenes at Aarey Colony, Goregaon.  He was exhibiting the usual symptoms of the sickness and wasn't feeling well.  He was tested on the physicians' recommendation, and the results showed that it was dengue.

Emraan remained professional in spite of the setback.  He quickly updated the production crew on his status and said that he was unable to continue filming at this time.  The group encouraged him to put his recuperation first.  Emraan is currently recuperating at home and won't be able to play for at least a week.  The speed at which he recovers will determine when he returns to the sets.

Emraan Hashmi makes his telugu film debut in OG.  Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead in the movie, while pawan kalyan plays the main role.  The antagonist in this intense action drama is Emraan.  With support from DVV Entertainment, the company behind RRR, and directed by sujeeth of saaho fame, OG is scheduled for a big global release on september 25.
