The viral video of alleged Aghori puja of Shinde faction leader and maharashtra minister Bharat Gogavale is being mocked. shiv sena (UBT) and ncp on wednesday claimed that maharashtra minister Bharat Gogavale resorted to secret rituals to ensure his victory in last year's assembly elections and a place in the cabinet.
The Employment Guarantee Scheme (EGS) minister was targeted after a viral video allegedly showed him performing some rituals with a 'Mantrik' (Witch Doctor). Vasant More of shiv sena (UBT) and Suraj Chavan of ncp mocked the shiv sena minister. ncp and shiv sena are part of the ruling Mahayuti alliance in the state.
Vasant More's taunt on minister Gogavale
shiv sena (UBT) leader Vasant More said, "Gogavale had earlier performed secret rituals to become an mla and cabinet minister, while Suraj Chavan claimed on wednesday (June 18) that he recently took part in another round of such rituals in the hope of becoming the guardian minister of Raigad district.

Suraj Chavan said, "Maharashtra is a progressive state and Gogavale should trust the Mahayuti leadership." Both shiv sena and ncp are vying for the post of patron minister of Raigad.

On the other hand, reacting to his viral video, Gogavale described himself as a 'Hindutvawadi' and said that he believes in God. minister Bharat Gogavale, while clarifying, took a dig at the leader of the opposition party and said, "We had visited a religious place in Indore. During this, havan and puja were performed." He said that if Vasant More thought that I became an mla and then a minister after performing puja, he should have told me. I would have taken him with me so that his deposit would not have been forfeited in the assembly elections. Along with this, the leader of the Shinde faction further said that he is being targeted because he spoke the truth about the split in the original party.
