A video of a special moment from the june 23, 2025, european premiere of "F1: The Movie" at Cineworld Leicester Square was posted by the official Formula 1 X account.  Hollywood legend tom Cruise made an unexpected appearance in the 18.28-second film, joining Brad Pitt on the red carpet.

In front of a Formula 1 vehicle and movie promotional materials, the two actors, who are well-known for their parts in the movie, are seen embracing, shaking hands, and posing for pictures.  With other guests and the media in attendance, the event had a vibrant environment that emphasized the anticipation for the movie's release.  The article highlights Cruise and Pitt's surprising reunion, giving the premiere a star-studded feel.

Apple Original Films' recent entry into the movie theater business has largely resulted in poor box office performance, and its future is quite uncertain.  However, "F1," the Brad Pitt racing drama from "Top Gun: Maverick" director Joseph Kosinski and producers Jerry Bruckheimer and Lewis Hamilton, might finally be the Silicon Valley studio's first legitimate big-screen smash.

As seen by the $150 million+ budgets given to films like Ridley Scott's "Napoleon" and Martin Scorsese's "Killers of the Flower Moon," Apple, with its $390 billion yearly income, is ready and able to invest heavily in projects that Hollywood's traditional studios would not touch.
