The donald trump administration has sent a strong warning to indian visa holders about their excessive stay in the United States. Additionally, it stated that any infraction could result in the cancellation of the visa and potential deportation. In the midst of the tariff war, this could worsen relations between the two nations.

"Respect the terms of your US visa and your authorized period of stay in the united states," the US Embassy wrote in a post on X. Staying in the country after your I-94 "Admit Until Date" can have serious repercussions, including the cancellation of your visa, potential deportation, and loss of your ability to get future visas.  Your ability to travel, study, or work in the united states may be permanently impacted if you overstay.

What the congress say?
"End indian H1-B visas replacing American jobs instead and stop funding and sending weapons to the Obama/Biden/Neocon ukraine russia war," wrote Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia's 14th district in a post on X.

She made these comments about US President Donald Trump's recent announcement that the US will "substantially raise" the tariff india must pay for purchasing "massive amounts of Russian oil," claiming that a large portion of the oil bought from moscow is sold on the open market "for big profits."

"India is not only purchasing large quantities of Russian oil, but they are also selling a large portion of that oil on the open market for significant profits," trump wrote on Truth Social.  The number of persons killed by the Russian war Machine in ukraine is irrelevant to them.  As a result, I will be significantly increasing the tariff that india pays to the United States.  Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!"

What did the united states say about india buying Russian oil?

India has spoken up for its sovereign right to make energy policy decisions that serve the interests of the country.

Despite criticism from the european union and the united states, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on monday made a compelling case for the nation's choice to buy oil from Russia.

The MEA claims that india imports electricity from russia out of necessity and to keep indian consumers' energy rates steady and reasonable.

The criticism of India's trade policy, according to the MEA, is "unjustified and unreasonable," and the country would take the necessary steps to protect its economic security and national interests.
