The Mahagathbandhan alliance will release its joint election manifesto in patna on tuesday ahead of the bihar assembly polls.
The announcement comes a day before rahul gandhi shares the stage with Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Mahagathbandhan’s Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav.
This will be the first joint appearance of rahul gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav during the ongoing campaign.
Joint Rallies Scheduled
Rahul gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav will address joint rallies on october 29 (Wednesday).
The rallies are planned in muzaffarpur and Darbhanga, according to news agency ANI.
NDA Criticism of Congress
The national democratic alliance (NDA) has questioned rahul Gandhi’s prolonged absence from the bihar campaign trail.
NDA leaders allege that the congress has remained inactive in Bihar’s political discourse.
Tejashwi Yadav Targets PM Modi
RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav criticized prime minister Narendra Modi ahead of his Bihar visit, accusing the bjp of trying to mislead voters.
Yadav remarked, “Everyone knows that he (PM Modi) is coming to cheat Bihar.”
He challenged the Centre to show Bihar’s development accounts and compared it with Gujarat’s growth under Modi.
Yadav said, “All we want to know is what you gave to gujarat in 11 years and what you gave to Bihar—just show the accounts.”
PM Modi’s bihar Visit and Poll Schedule
BJP’s bihar unit president Dilip Jaiswal confirmed PM Modi will address two programs on october 30 in muzaffarpur and Chhapra.
Bihar assembly Elections:
Voting: Two phases on november 6 and 11 for the 243-member assembly.
Counting of votes: Scheduled for november 14.
