Director lakshmi Deepta has been arrested in a case of threatening a young man and acting in an obscene web series. Aruvikkara police arrested lakshmi Deepta. manorama Online reports that lakshmi, who was produced in the Nedumangad court after her arrest, was granted bail with court conditions. Appear before the Investigating Officer on every wednesday and thursday between 9 AM and 12 PM.

The bail was granted as per the order of the High Court. The complainant in the case is a 26-year-old native of Venganur. The complaint is that he acted in an obscene series saying that he would make him a hero in the film. The shooting took place in an apartment in a secluded place in Aruvikara, Thiruvananthapuram. 

The complaint says that the crew did not tell him that it was an obscene film. According to the complaint, they signed the film after shooting the first few parts and then threatened to act on the grounds that it was an obscene film. The young man sent the application after seeing an advertisement looking for a hero for a web series that will be released on OTT. This OTT platform available on playstore is an app that releases pornographic images. The young man had earlier told the media that he did not know any of these things.

A production controller friend approached me saying that there is a web series and I want to act in it. Then the young man reached the stream bank where the shoot was taking place. The young man says that the filming took place in a deserted villa, a kilometer inland.
