A spicy and tangy steamed dumpling dish from South India, perfect for breakfast or snacks

1 teaspoon mustard seeds


1 teaspoon urad dal


half teaspoon asafoetida (hing)


1-2 dried red chilies


1 tablespoon oil


Curry leaves


Salt to taste




instructions:

prepare the Rice Flour Dough:

In a bowl, add rice flour and salt. Pour boiling water step by step, stirring constantly to form a tender dough. upload oil and knead lightly. cowl and maintain aside.



Make tamarind Paste:

warmness oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, dried red chilies, curry leaves, and asafoetida. whilst mustard seeds splutter, add tamarind pulp, chili powder, and salt. cook for two-3 mins and take away from heat.
