The report claims that these two police officers stole gold worth Rs. 50 lakh while allegedly screening travellers from Muscat and Dubai. After the incident came to light, both police officers were detained.
Both of the accused police officers worked for the airport's Special Operations Squad. The people who were robbed of their gold claim that they had taken it with them so they could donate it to someone. The authorities believe that this gold has been smuggled, though. It's being checked. On december 24, a resident of rajasthan who had travelled from Muscat filed a complaint alleging that two police officers had kidnapped him the previous evening and taken 600 grammes of gold from him in the forest. Also, abuse him.
