The team of Anti-Narcotics Cell of Dwarka, delhi has busted an international drug syndicate and recovered 177 kg of high quality ganja. In this case, the police have arrested a total of three drug smugglers. These include a notorious criminal who recently came out on interim bail after serving a 10-year sentence.

Ganja was smuggled from nepal to punjab via bihar and then from there it was being supplied in trolley bags to Delhi-NCR. DCP Ankit Singh said that the team of Anti-Narcotics Cell took this action after a long surveillance and secret information. He said that the Anti-Narcotics Cell had received information about ganja being brought in trolley bags in trains from Bihar. On this input, a special team was formed under the leadership of Inspector Subhash Chand, in-charge of Anti-Narcotics Cell, which included SI naveen Kumar, ASI Dinesh Kumar, Head Constable kuldeep etc.

A flat built in a posh area was made a warehouse

The team raided near Dwarka Metro Station on 23 May 2025 and caught an accused Rajesh (50) with 6.067 kg of ganja. During interrogation, the accused told that he had rented a flat in Delhi's posh area Vikaspuri and made it a warehouse for ganja. The police raided the place and recovered 168.896 kg of ganja. He told that he gets the consignment of ganja from Krishnanand Chaudhary, a resident of Hoshiarpur, Punjab.

The network was spread from nepal to Delhi

On this, the team raided Hoshiarpur in punjab on the information of Rajesh and arrested Krishnanand Chaudhary (49) from there. He is the main supplier of this network. He revealed that he brought ganja from bihar to punjab and then supplied it in Delhi-NCR in trolley bags. Upon further interrogation, the police came to know about Krishnan (32) who worked as a local supplier. The police arrested him from his house in Najafgarh with 2.033 kg of ganja.
