Learning from the mother's stomach!
Ramanujan was so talented that at the age of 12-13, he had memorized advanced trigonometry, and based on this he started making theorems. Not only this, Ramanujan himself, who studied in class 7th, had the ability to teach students up to graduation.
Ramanujan did not stop again
Ramanujan's first research paper was published in the year 1911 and gradually he started getting recognition. He felt that now he should go abroad and study. So he started writing letters to the professors of Cambridge University. At first two letters were not received. In the year 2013, GH Hardy responded to Ramanujan and called him to london to work with him.
Hardy called the 'Greatest Mathematician'
GH Hardy made a scale from 0 to 100 points to measure the ability of mathematicians in those days. On this scale, Hardy gave himself only 25 marks, German mathematician Davies Gilbert 80, and Srinivasa Ramanujan a full 100.
What did you give to maths?
At such a young age, Ramanujan gave about 3900 theorems. His Infinite series was one of his important works. When he died, three notebooks and some pages were found in his cupboard. The infinite series is also mentioned in these notebooks. Ramanujan had written 17 ways to represent the infinite series in this notebook. Thousands of theorems and their results written in his notebooks continue to inspire and guide mathematicians around the world even today.
Ending with illness
Even in childhood, Ramanujan had suffered from a disease like smallpox. One such disease became difficult for him to even during his youth. In the year 1919, he was diagnosed with hepatic amoebiasis and returned to India. tb caught him after returning to India. The web of diseases so entangled Ramanujan that at the age of 32, this great mathematician said goodbye to this world.
