The study also revealed that though US has highest % of drug use, european countries dominate the list. The most used drugs as per the reports are cannabis, opioids and cocaine. Among these, Cannabis is the most used drug, as much as 2.5% of the world population consume cannabis.
The study also revealed the drug use patterns among youths. Around 12% of 8th graders, 29% of 10th graders and 36% of 12th graders reportedly use marijuana every year. This is a shocking revelation that needs to be controlled. Teens get into drug addiction to make them look cool but proper counseling needs to be provided to show them ill effects of Drug Usage.
