Hitler is considered the biggest dictator of all time. Very few
people know that Adolf Hitler's dream was to become the world's most famous artist, but he became a dictator. If we talk about Hitler's role in the Second World
war, then Hitler's role at that time was central and destructive. As the dictator of Germany, he played an important role in starting and running the war. Hitler's expansionist ideology, aggressive foreign policy and hatred towards Jews contributed more destructively to the causes of the war. If Hitler was not there, then perhaps the Second World
war would not have happened or it could have happened in a different way. Do you know that Hitler was building a tank that ran on blood. Let's find out.
What was the name of that tank?
You would hardly have heard that during the Second World
war, Hitler along with his engineers was building a tank that was to be run on the blood of living humans. The name of this tank was Landkreuzer P 1000 Ratte, which was the heaviest tank in the world. This 1000 ton tank, which was a heavy vehicle, was designed in 1942 by Edward Grothe,
director of Krupp company. When Hitler liked this project and showed interest in it, he also approved it.
What was the specialty of that tank
The length of Landkreuzer P 1000 Ratte was 35 meters, width 14 meters and height 11 meters. Its main weapons were 280 mm SK C/34 naval guns, 128 mm KwK 44 guns, apart from this two cannons 15 mm MG 151/15 cannons, and 20 mm Oerlikon cannons were installed. Its engine was 8 Daimler-Benz MB 501
diesel marine engines and it could carry 20-40 people. On 23
june 1942, the German Armaments Ministry made a proposal for a 1000 ton tank. Hitler was interested in the project and approved it. The P 1000 Ratte was never actually built, because it was large and heavy. It was never implemented as a real tank during World
war II.
Hitler
wanted to run the tank with blood
Hitler
wanted to run this tank by extracting blood from the bodies of prisoners and Jews and putting it into the special hydraulic system of the tank. But when Alois Speer came to know about this, the project was stopped. In early 1943, the project was canceled by Armaments
minister Albert Speer.
