Night curfew in telangana soon..?

The covid Pandemic has spread around the world for the past two years. This year too, covid had given us a new variant named Omicron. Millions of people in the country are infected with the Omicron variant every day. However, night curfew is being enforced in many states of the country due to the heavy reports of cases. Weekend lockdowns are also being implemented. Night Curfew has been in operation for a few days now as many thousands of cases are being registered daily in Andhra Pradesh.
In telangana, around 4,000 cases are being reported daily. There has been a consultation meeting for the implementation of the night curfew in telangana for some time in the coming days. Srinivasa Rao, the health director said a night curfew could be imposed if the covid positivity rate exceeds 10 percent.

But no matter how much care the government takes, it seems people can't follow the covid rules as the devotees come in large numbers in Tirupathi. Officials expect the number of covid cases to increase sharply in the coming days. According to health Director Srinivasa Rao, there is a possibility of imposing a night curfew in telangana after the medaram fair which is the mega four-day Jatara.
