On Monday, sources from the JD(U) published news stories claiming that nitish kumar had spoken to a top bjp official before leaving the nda partnership. The bjp, however, instantly refuted these reports. For a number of reasons, the bjp decided not to attempt to influence the chief minister of bihar this time. They believed that the latter had already made up his mind to further his political ambitions in national politics and that, in order to do so, he would need to enlist the aid of Lalu prasad Yadav in bihar and the congress in New Delhi.

The bjp claims that over the past few years, Nitish Kumar's support has significantly declined in Bihar. The results of the 2020 bihar assembly elections, according to a senior bjp official, have demonstrated that Nitish Kumar's influence over the state's citizens has diminished, and they are now seeing the bjp as a JD-alternative party (U). A bjp leader went further in his criticism of the chief minister of bihar, alleging that his political aspirations, greed, and intransigence were undermining the state's interests.

The bjp leaders made no attempt to convince nitish kumar to stay in the nda alliance and preserve the coalition government in bihar because of Nitish's obstinacy and the political outlook. The political statements made by Union Ministers giriraj singh and ashwini Choubey, bihar bjp President Sanjay Jaiswal, and other party leaders, however, make it clear that the bjp plans to run a widespread campaign in bihar and would develop a plan to exact revenge on Nitish Kumar.
