Delhi Crime Season 2 Review: Shefali Shah's performance beats every check, the real truth of the investigation of serious crimes is shown

There is a large section of delhi who lives in settlements but works for those who live in the palaces of delhi, policing such a city is a complicated task. When it won the Best Drama Series award at the Emmy Awards two years ago, it was a giant leap for the hindi entertainment industry. Now the second season of this series shows the world a different picture of the capital of india is in front.

The series not only explores the crimes of delhi, their criminals, and the way these criminals work, but this series also tries to take a closer look at the conditions under which the officers and jawans of the delhi police work. Then there are the eyes of newspapers and news channels constantly searching for something sensational. There is a deteriorating relationship between the subordinates and their officers and there are some such stories that even the policemen themselves can never tell to anyone.

Season 2 of the web series 'Delhi Crime' comes directly to its issue. The characters are all recognized in the first season itself, so the series does not try to decorate their past or their present. The series moves swiftly with the camera moving eye-to-eye with the story. While watching the series, criminals also get disgusted. There is sympathy for the policemen and displeasure with the system also comes to mind.

There is a police inspector who stops talking to his daughter just because he wants to get her married as soon as possible. There is an IPS officer whose husband just wants to spend some time with her. He is at home taking leave from his posting and is busy investigating the serial murders in his wife Delhi. And, the head of all this is DCP Vartika Chaturvedi.

Seen from the point of view of DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, delhi police does its work like a nut by balancing on a rope tied in the air. If people are picked up based on suspicion, social activists come in the middle. If you call a girl studying in a distant country late at night, she feels that she is being monitored too much and the sword of political leaders is hanging on the neck of the police commissioner.

The last time the case was about the rape case that shook the world, so this time the curious thing was that on which crime in the story of 'Delhi Crime' would emerge as more heinous than that. This time the case is of a gang that targets wealthy elderly couples living alone. Seeing the series, it is also understood how the traitors remain hidden by changing colors like chameleons in the people who come home or meet daily.

The web series 'Delhi Crime' is completely different from the common mumbai crime series made on crimes. The social, political, and economic aspects of delhi come together in the fabric of this time woven by its creator Richie Mehta and director Tanuj Chopra. As soon as the crime is committed, the papers already gathering dust in the police files are removed. The police run after the initial evidence found on the spot and miss to see where the mistake is being made by them. Technically, the web series 'Delhi Crime' has the best five episodes of 40 minutes on average. David Boleyn's cinematography is spectacular. The kind of montages his camera has taken to show the normal life of delhi, are rarely seen in the common mumbai web series. Antara Lahiri has also kept the editing of the series very tight.

She does not let the pace of the story slow down anywhere and it is also amazing for her editing that she does not feel like leaving the series in the middle. Perfectly fit for Binge watch this weekend, the second season of the series delhi Crime' gets a smidge of music from siri Torjusson to keep its rhythm going.
