Popular Yesteryear writer and Music director Devi Sri Prasad's father, Satyamurthy breathed his last this morning. He suffered a massive cardiac arrest in the early hours at his residence in Chennai. His final rites are expected to happen in Chennai itself and many industry biggies will fly their to pay their last respects.
Satyamurthy worked as a writer for more than 90 films. The first big break of his career arrived with Devatha and from then, there is no looking back to him. He worked with several Top stars and is associated with several blockbuster films like Abhilasha, Challenge, Pedarayudu, Khaidhi No.786 and others.
Satyamurthy had enjoyed heights in his prime and also witnessed the monumental growth of his son, Devi Sri Prasad in the industry. But now missed seeing him foray in to acting. Devi Sri Prasad will be making his debut as hero the next year in the direction of Sukumar. We express our heart felt condolences to the bereaved family.
