Young and Energetic actor Varun Tej after tasting success as a young and energetic Military officer in 'Kanche' , tasted another success with rugged looks in 'Loafer'. Disha Patani did female lead and she shared screen space with him. Varun Tej was completely seen in new shades.

The movie was a huge success. The overseas collections alone were affected due to 'Star Wars : The Force Awakens'. The team is visiting several towns in Andhra Pradesh to celebrate the movie's success with fans. As the team visited Narsipatnam, Puri Jagannadh got emotional.
Because that is the home town for Puri. He said, "I am happy with the overwhelming success of 'Loafer'. The movie is going to Bollywood and talks are on with a lead director. I am planning to direct a romantic story with newbies in future."
