Kollywood sources have stated that actress Nayanthara's upcoming Tamil thriller is ‘Kolayuthir Kaalam’, which will be directed by Chakri Toleti, is to be shot on 8K resolution, making it one of the first Indian films to use the technology. It was stated that 8K, a successor of 4K, is the highest ultra high definition (UHD) resolution in digital television and film restoration and is 16 times detailed than any current resolution.
Recently Toleti wrote on his Twitter page on Monday that "Shooting of 'Kolayuthir Kaalam' with his new EPIC-W camera had reached the final stage of shooting and it is one of the first Indian films shot at 8K resolution".
Sources have added that the movie is tipped to be
an invasion thriller, the film is said to be loosely based on Hollywood's
recent India hit, "Rush". Nayanthara is acting in the movie
vigorously to prove her individuality.
Sources have stated that the film will be jointly bankrolled by Vashu Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Yuvan Shankar Raja, who will also double up as the music composer. Keep watching for more refreshments about the movie as early as possible.
