Reportedly post the release of mahesh Babu's blockbuster flick sarileru neekevvaru, there was speculation that the actor will team up with director parasuram in one of his upcoming films. According to latest reports, the makers have begun pre-production work on the project and have approached actress Keerthy suresh to play the female lead in it. director parasuram met the actress at hyderabad and narrated the script to her. Keerthy was apparently impressed with her character in the film and agreed to be a part of it. However, sources say that she has decided to work on mahesh Babu's project only after completing Rajinikanth's Annaatthe.
mahesh Babu's film is touted to be a family entertainer and the makers are apparently planning to rope in many actors from other languages too. The shoot is likely to begin in the first week of june, once the coronavirus crisis is over. Meanwhile, actress Keerthy suresh is waiting for the release of her much-anticipated malayalam film, Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham, featuring mohanlal in the lead role. The film is based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar.
Marakkar was supposed to hit the screens on march 26. However, the release date got postponed due to the novel coronavirus outbreak across the globe. Keerthy is also awaiting the release of her tamil film, Penguin, bankrolled by karthik Subbaraj. She plays the role of a pregnant woman in the film.
