Both the movies ended as a failure. Now, he works on his next project which is bankrolled by sun Pictures and had announced a Pongal 2021 release.
Now, the shooting of 'Annaththe' was stopped due to the unexpected Corona pandemic. There were reports that Rajini will join with director lokesh kanagaraj for a new venture which will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan.
But now, close sources to Rajini has revealed that the actor is planning to take a break after 'Annaththe' and quit acting with that movie itself. The actor is also having some health issues and he doesn't want to deteriorate it further.
