But we rarely see a good film even causing damage to an actor's career. Sadly Anjali has got one such rare phenomenon with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Anjali acted in a very homely character in the film beside Victory Venkatesh.
Her performance in the movie got great applause and the movie went on to become a blockbuster. But the film is doing more bad than good for Anjali. Film makers are only seeing her through the 'Seetha' role and glamorous offers are not coming her way. Sadly SVSC kind of films or the Seetha kind of roles are very less in Tollywood to prolong Anjali's career.
So, Anjali has taken a stern decision about her career. She is working on losing her weight and become slim like the other reigning heroines. At the same time she is focusing on retaining her sexy curves which will make sure she does not lose the oomph factor in her. If she is successful in doing that then Anjali may give a good run to the likes of Samantha, Shruti Haasan and others.
Anjali's today release, Geethanjali has got good initial talk. She has currently signed a Tamil film opposite Jayam Ravi, a Kannada and two other Telugu films. Details of the Telugu films are yet to be disclosed.
