Alfredo james Pacino is a legendary actor in Hollywood. He is one of the veteren actors in America with many prestigious awards to his credit. His career spanned over more than five decades and has received many prestigious awards such as Academy Award, Tony Award, Primetime Emmy Award etc.  

He was born on april 25, 1940 in Manhattan, New York City to Italian-American parents. He debuted in films in the 1970s and his success story began with the much-appreciated gangster movie, The Godfather. Since then he has not looked back as an actor. He is named for his outstanding acting skills. He did justice to every role that was given to him.
In his career spanning 50 years, he did many movies that credited him with noteworthy awards. He won an Academy award for Scent of a woman (1992). He is mainly named for his gangster movies, which was a rage then.
