Shruti Haasan started working for her tamil movie titled 'Laabam' in 2019. The team also wrapped up the shooting in the same year itself. However, there were lots of post-production works. The movie also struggled to see the daylight due to the unexpected Corona pandemic. The director of the movie SP Jananathan took his last breath due to brain fever and the movie faced a pause in the post-production works.


The movie has music composed by D.Imman and yesterday evening the team released the second single track 'Yaamili Yaamiliyaa'. The movie is funded by 7Cs Entertainment Pvt Ltd and vijay sethupathi Productions banner together as a joint venture. jagapathi babu essays the role of antagonist in this venture. This is the first time shruti haasan pairs with vijay Sethupathi.


Shruti Haasan is currently enjoying this Lockdown phase and she is spending some personal alone time with her boyfriend Santanu Hazarika. She had a live session with her fans on instagram and during a Q&A session, she answered a fan's question which was absolutely stinking.
