Trisha is currently doing the role of Princess Kundhavai in the epic drama movie 'Ponniyin Selvan' under Maniratnam's direction and she is working non-stop for the movie and she is toning her body to fit in the shoes of a queen. Actor karthi is doing the role of Vanthiyadevan and jayam ravi si essaying the role of Arulmozhivarman and aishwarya Rai will be seen as Poongulali. 


Regarding this movie, trisha has now revealed some secrets and she said, "The first schedule was already completed before the pandemic and while shooting the second schedule at Ramoji Film City, the second wave got more intense and we have to stop the shooting as actress aishwarya Lekshmi herself got tested positive. 


The shooting is not even 10% completed and it is tough to shoot in this situation even though cases are now declining faster. We have to ensure all the precautions are taken and it is impossible as we need to shoot with more than 1000 junior artists. So, we can restart this shooting only when the cases are zero and things get back entirely normal. This movie will be shot on a lavish scale and will be a huge one as well in indian cinema."
