Malayalam actress Saranya Sasi passed away on monday, august 9. The 35-year-old was diagnosed with brain tumour 10 years ago. She underwent 11 major surgeries as part of a treatment. Few weeks ago, Saranya was infected with Covid-19 and was hospitalised. Though she recovered from the Corona pathogen, Saranya was suffering with other health-related problems.  

Saranya Sasi was a popular film and TV-serial actress in the malayalam industry. She was earlier diagnosed with cancer in 2012. Suffering with both cancer and brain tumorur, she underwent several painful surgeries. Saranya, after recovering from Covid-19 infection had other health issues and was again admitted to hopital in Trivandrum, as she was diagnosed with pneumonia and with low sodium levels in  blood. The talented actress breathed her last on monday afternoon at the hospital.

Saranya was one of the famous actresses in the malayalam tv industry. Some of her tv dramas and shows include Seetha, Harichandanam and Manthrakodi. She also played supporting roles in Chacko Randaman, Thalappavu, bombay and Chotta Mumbai.

During her last days, Saranya was going through severe financial crisis. Many people in the industry helped her too. Recently, actress seema G Nair, also a close friend of Saranya has built a house for her and the housewarming ceremony gained headlines too.
