The cases of the Omicron variant are very few in the country right now. But the reports related to it are frightening. If the effect of the Omicron variant is shown in the country, it can have a very bad effect on the cinema business.

The two dreadful phases of the Corona epidemic (Covid 19 pandemic) especially hit Bollywood. Barring two-three films, the films released so far in the period after the second wave has suffered a lot and due to the situation arising out of the epidemic somewhere.

Many films were repeatedly scheduled throughout the year. Despite announcing the release, the makers had to back down.

Some films are ready months in advance but are waiting for a safe date. The effect of the second wave can still be seen in cinemas. Meanwhile, the threat of the Omicron variant has started scaring the world.

Of course, the country is also scared of the Omicron variant. Needless to say that the makers, who have locked the release date in the right environment next year, will be sleepless.

Although not many cases of the Omicron variant have been reported in the country so far, the reports about its speed and peak and the lessons learned from the second wave are frightening.

This is also the reason for the troubles of Bollywood.

If the Omicron variant shows its effect, the theatre business will be on the verge of destruction!

The closure of cinemas means the release calendar will be disturbed again next year. For the producers who waited for months for the theatrical release, it cannot be said to be of any benefit at all.

Manufacturers may suffer massive losses. The backbone of the film industry has already been broken due to two waves of the pandemic.

Suffering from the third wave may prove to be something beyond the limits of the film industry. A lot of money is invested by the producers in the films.

It is clear that the Omicron variant can bring havoc for Bollywood, Tollywood, kollywood as well.

However, the good thing is that the cases of new variants in the country are few and far between. Going by the activeness of various agencies, it is to be expected that the Omicron variant does not arrive as the second wave did.

But if the Omicron variant showed an impact on the country as well, it is guaranteed that the theatre business will be on the verge of destruction.

The new situations that will be created will prove beneficial only for the over the top platforms. Pray everything goes well.
